Overview

I choose to research about the comparison of if concerts are more popular in the West Coast or East Coast. I searched many different things on Google Trends to help me answer my question and it appeared that more people on the East Coast were more interested about concerts.

Summary

A few things I searched on google trends were many popular websites that people go on to purchase their concert tickets. I searched “Vivid Seats”, “Stubhub” and “SeatGeek”. I looked at the top three states of each website and more people in the West Coast looked up these ticket websites. After typing in “Concerts near me” I got the result of New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Delaware popping up as the top three. On my own research on google I researched on the largest concert venues in the U.S and the majority of the top ten largest venues appeared to be in the West Coast.

 ---> As you can tell, more of the largest venues are in the East Coast. The most famous venues are the LDS Conference Center, Microsoft Theater and the Wolftrap National Park for the Performing Arts.
